what should I wear to a golf lesson?

A friend of mine is treating me a golf lesson for my birthday. I think that will be fun, however, I never played golf and I am not sure how to dress appropriately for the occasion. I am especially concerned about the shoes. Can I wear sneakers?

      An actual course wear polo and one of dress pants or shorts dont look ratty and gross you want to look professional.

      DONT WEAR JEANS, YOU CAN WEAR TRAINERS, A POLO SHIRT, AND ANY OTHER TROUSERS BUT NOT JEANS,,, THERE ARE RULES ON A GOLF COURSE AND A DRESS CODE, GOOD LUCK

      The golf lesson is allowed sneaker dress code is allowed sneaker is just on the golf course wear polo shirt.
