This is what I suggest. Do you want to be noticed. They wear something bright such as a bright colored shirt, off- white pants, a sharp belt, and some really up to date loafers (two-tone is what I like brown or black and white) to match the belt.
If you want to fade into the crowd, still wear a nice shirt, polo shirt possibly white or off white and some colored slacks and nice loafers.

You will be doing a lot of walking and depending on where the tournament is, be ready for the elements. A nice polo shirt or a nice shirt and either shorts or capris work. No short shorts or revealing tank tops, remember that most of the time tourny’s are in country clubs so keep that in mind. If this is a PGA tour event, you are not allowed in the clubhouse unless you are a member of the club where the tournament is being held or you have special access badges. Wear a hat if it is going to be sunny and bring sunglasses so you can see the ball in the air. Be quiet when the marshalls put their hands up and do not move around when a golfer is about to hit. Be respectful and enjoy the tournament.
