Joe asked:

I’m going golfing in the morning, haven’t been in a while, but I hear tennis shoes aren’t the best for golfing, they say strictly golf shoes, because tennis shoes can mess up your game.
Will it really mess up my game all that much?
well yeah, it’s just a casual game. Thanks to all for the quick replies.

If you’re playing competitively then you should get golf shoes. If this is a casual, social (for fun) occasion, than tennis shoes would be fine. It’s true, golf shoes are a lot more efficient compared to tennis shoes, but they’re extremely pricey, so only get them if you need them!

For professional or any frequent exercises its no need in my opinion.

You’d better to get golf shoes which can protect you feet better and concern you on the games.

Tennis shoes on wet turf will kill you. If the turf is bone dry then it’s fine. Unless you have terrible balance and/or swing really hard.
