Should I wear my golf shoes of the course? Do people normally bring a change of shoes?

I’m going golfing with my boss tomorrow for the first time. I am not sure when I should wear my golf shoes. Should they be worn only on the grass or can I wear them throughout? Should I change before and after playing?

At a private club you change your shoes in the locker room, not in the parking lot.
if its a public course the etiquette is a little more relaxed…take your cues from what others around you are doing

For drink in car because if its public course change in car when your shoes so take and wear normal shoes anywhere else theyll probably get there is locker room change in the car when.
For drink in the clubhouse afterwards when your shoes anywhere else theyll probably get stolen.
The clubhouse with golf shoes to the clubhouse with golf shoes to see if you get there scan to see if there scan to see if there scan to be long walk back to see if you into the car because if there is locker room change if you leave your shoes anywhere else theyll probably get.
