With the restrictions placed on the use of metal golf spikes, those which were available decades ago are now passe. All the new shoes have soft spikes which often times are next to useless. May I suggest you keep walking in those ” sweet Lacoste shoes”, visit the discount shoe stores or golf shop during their sales and pick up a pair of good golf shoes at a reasonable price.
