I bought a pair of golf shoes on EBay and paid outrageous brokerage fees to UPS, what are brokerage fees?
January 17th, 2008 | by admin |Mr. PDQ asked:
The shoes cost $39.99, shipping to Canada $18.95 by UPS and then the UPS man presents me with another bill for brokerage fees of $29.55. The shoes had to cross the border but do they have to inspect them for bombs or something? What the heck are brokerage fees going to UPS for anyways? It is enough to stop someone in Canada using Ebay for anything!
