      you could cut out a slit in it that would allow a flathead screwdriver to fit in it

      Let the people in the golf shop do it, the price should almost be the same. They have several different kind, some screw out others have the twist system. You may want to have them all changed at the same time. Soft spikes do not last long. You can go to for more info or pictures
