converse chuck taylor hasnt made a golf shoe since way back in the day, i wanna remove the quick-lock mechanisms from golf shoes and make a bottom for my chucks (to be attached permanently with shoe goo/ goop) by gluing the q-locks to the sole then glue another sole over the work with holes cut for the spikes. anyone ever try this? id like advice or previous experience
