Golf shoes spikes question?

Does brand of shoes have to match brand of replacement spikes and spike tool? I have footjoys, and my dad got me a Nike tool and spikes. Can I use them? If not, are there any universal spikes? Also, which spikes should I get with my footjoy shoes?

      For your shoes they are not interchangeable.

      Because so many clubs& courses require spikeless shoes now, almost any wrench/replacement spikes will work interchangably. I suggest going to a golf shop or Dick’s Sporting Goods and buying a generic wrench and set of replacement spikes.

      Golfsmith.com has a user chart to indicate the various types of spike attachments and which ones match which shoe. Here is a link to that site.
